Joining The Mission

Welcome to The Bridge! We consider it a privilege that you are exploring the idea of becoming a part of our mission, which is “helping people find Jesus Christ and follow Him fully.” As we journey together to encounter our unique calling as a church, we believe that you will find ultimate satisfaction in life when you become a part of a movement of God which is bigger than yourself.

JOINING THE MISSION is about discovering that we are all designed for community (with God and others) and to have a positive impact on the world we live in. JOINING THE MISSION is also a chance for you to see where God is leading us as a church and making you aware of how you can become an even greater part of The Bridge family. We want you to move from being an attendee to becoming an advocate and volunteer staff member of The Bridge!

To help you prepare for the JOINING THE MISSION afternoon together, please complete the following assignments before coming to the class. We appreciate you taking the time to tackle the following forms and requirements as a part of your journey with us. Please bring all the documents with you to the class.

  1. Write down your Faith Story. We sometimes refer to this as “My Story” or “Testimony”. If you would like to see an example of written testimonies, please click here.
  2. Complete the Network Spiritual Gifts Assessment. This will take approximately 45 minutes to complete. Please answer the questions as true to who you are, not necessarily how you want to be or how you think you should be.
  3. Complete the Ministry Volunteer Application. Included in this packet is a list of service opportunities at The Bridge
  4. Read and be willing to agree to the EFCA Statement of Faith.
  5. Read and be willing to agree to the Every Member a Minister Covenant.

Again, we are thrilled that you are considering JOINING THE MISSION that God has called us to both individually and collectively as a church family. I’m looking forward to our time together!
